This may be a scam number , and also seems to be related to the ppl. scamming under the false ID of the
Atlanta Symphony Orchestra at 309-253-0512.

They are using 309-253-4040 as a LOT of Peoria wireless numbers get searched on these great free services (THANKS) and they knew my last name (no biggie, I'm in the book) but ALSO on the Do-not-call lists both Federal and for Texas where I live.

And no, I have never even been to Atlanta except to change planes and once for a deposition in...1993?
(When you die and go to heaven, you will STILL have to change planes in Atlanta...)

To my demands ("IDENTIFY YOURSELF! IDENTIFY YOURSELF!") THEY JUST HUNG UP.....

This is the way to sort the sheep from the goats, as any legit biz, even if they IGNORE the law like bill collectors,
MUST identify themselves and will do so if they want to get anywhere.  If they WON'T? SCAM ALERT!
