My boyfriend said this about the calls I kept getting for him: "He's called before. He left me a voicemail saying a name I don't recall, then i called back and he said he worked for a judge. Then called another time said he was the assistant of the attorney. It was the same guy every time. "
Just missed a call on my cell phone from this number. Didn't leave a message. I live 3 states away from Illinois and how are they getting my cell phone number?
I sent a letter as advised by my attorney. Now I am to not pick up the phone or call them back if they continue to call. I already reported them to the BBB....
These people are not lawyers they are a shady second hand collection agency that rips people off, if you pay them you end up paying twice for the same thing, when you call back, they do not identify themselves and they get very aggressive and threatening on the phone , they will threaten with suspensions and even jail time
I am getting at least 1 call from this number every day. Caller ID says "Wilber & Asc" The only good thing is they're calling a number that, when I do a search for it, is tied to someone else. I've never answered any calls from them, and after reading other comments here, I won't be trying to convince them any time soon that they have a bad number. I am going to register my number with the DoNot Call registry, although I've read that doing so doesn't really make much of a difference any more. Eventually they'll delete my number from their database. I have bigger fish to fry.
