Calling local business - but they are "on top of it" as they know one of our sports teams is going to state - so they are soliciting to help them "Go to State!!."
This guy called claiming to be soliciting donations for a school in the next town north of our town. Couldn't help but notice his area code is from Illinois and since we're in Ohio it doesn't look like he's "local" as he claims to be. He appears to be a professional fund raiser.
Julie Harden keeps calling me and saying cryptic things about needing me to "Please call me back." without telling me anything about what it is about. Also originally came up blocked on my caller ID, but Google Voice told me what number it was.
This number is still at it, in the business of soliciting for donations for a local school to benefit their girls basketball team. They wanted to sell our business a 1/8 page ad at a discounted price (of course)! Fortunately I called the school that she indicated we would be benefitting and found out it was a scam.
