My caller ID says it's "Verizon". They're probably checking on my satisfaction with their phone service and wanting to sell me additional services like FiOS. It's just telemarketing under the guise of customer satisfaction. That sucks.
Let answering machine pick up the call. Caller obviously started talking when the message machine picked up as the first part of their message was cut off. Actually recorded message was nothing more than them leaving the phone number, nothing to actually identify who was calling or why.
