The male caller identified himself as calling on behalf of a fireman's association on June 29th. As soon as I said I would not be able to donate he hung up. Also got a call from 707-070-4909 (caller ID also "California") on June 18th. The person asked my wife if I was home. She said no and he hung up.
Got another call from this number this morning. Today, "Kevin" told me I donated money to something dealing with breast cancer last year and that they were going to hope for the same donation this year. I told him "no thanks" and the call was immediately dropped. Same number has called me twice now with different groups wanting money. Sounds pretty fishy.
