As an investor who's been actively searching for a business to purchase for the last 2 years, I've learned how to spot them and avoid them. Most savvy, qualified buyers will as well. If you're serious about selling your business don't wast your time with these bafoons.
Folks...I am the one that called. We market to certain types of businesses in certain areas per a criteria some of our buyers establish. It is raw, but we do get callbacks. When we reach a live person we do say via an automated message that we are sorry but we reached a wrong number. What we do is VERY confidential and most of the time these calls end up with receptionists who are nosy. we do hit voicemail and leave a message. Most of the time if a secretary gets it she will forward and we get callbacks after hours. We hope we haven't caused too much trouble and if you want to sell, we have buyers...so please call back and we will have someone chat it out with you.
