This # left a recorded message, the recording started the instant my business voicemail picked up so the beginning of the message was cut off.
"...committee has approved YOUR nomination for the Community Achievement Award, however, we need your approval to grant the award. If you are the owner of the business, press 1 now. If you are an employee, press 2. Again, owner, press 1. Employee, press 2. Owner, press 1 now. Press 1."

Pretty sure I've done nothing to warrant being nominated, plus Caller ID showed "BEVERLY HILL CA" - no "S" on HILLS - so I'm guessing it's a scam.
Yes indeed, it is a scam -- an illegal robocall from a spoofed number (out of service mobile number).
If you press 1, you get the pitch for the "beautiful acrylic plaque, guaranteed to impress your family and friends." The robocall went on and on about how impressive it was -- with the male on the recording speaking very slowly, with long pauses (I thought maybe it had disconnected sometimes) in a very heavy north-east (NYC area, I think) accent. But after 2 minutes, it still hadn't gotten around to its call to action -- in other words, who was calling and how they expected to get how much money from me -- so I got bored and hung up.
I don't think this con artist is going to be very successful. The voice sounded like someone out of the Sopranos -- not exactly a confidence builder for anyone in an area outside of New Yawk -- and it was done so ineffectively (yet knew how to robocall and spoof a number) that I suspect it was pre-qualifying suckers who could be pitched something else. If they call back, I'll try the "2" and see if they have a contact number.
