My CID read "Lombard Cynthia," Malibu, CA. It's actually Epic Insurance Agency, LLC, 32875 Solon Road, Solon, OH (440) 318-1629.
They and other auto insurance agents who called me today bought leads from insureme.com, InsuranceQuotes.com, a BankRate company. Bankrate is located in Denver CO and sells leads. Insureme called today from 615--647-6516, and yesterday from India/Pakistan using 860-333-2579. Yesterday the E Indian said he was calling from "AutoCare" one minute, next minute "Savings Center." The latter is sometimes called "US Savings Center."
You're right, Epic is responsible for BankRate's DNC violations. Also excellent that you know how to pump them for information.
ID comes up "Cynthia Lombard", but nothing but silence at their end. Apparently associated with the illegal call I received from 916-347-0717, which seems to be a broker getting sales leads for home insurance brokers. To this caller, I gave lots of info about me and my home (very little actually factual...) and am awaiting calls from the brokers. When each calls, I'll waste as much of their time as I can, asking lots of questions and giving more bogus info. I'll try to get as much info on their company as I can, then mention that they are receiving leads from a company that is working illegally in regard to the National Do-Not-Call Registry, and this implicates their company in the crime. If they respond with surprise and contriteness, I'll mention the BBB as a possibility. If they blow me off, I'll actually file a BBB complaint ("Unethical Business Practices").
Come on, kids, anyone can play - it's fun and VERY satisfying...
