Called elderly Ms. Johnson requesting checking acct. number very harrassing, even told this 88 year old woman that he already had her acct. number. Really would like to know where to report them for this.
This number called my (elderly ) parents two days in a row demanding they renew their Guidepost magazine subscription and they need to verify their checking acct number. They my folks wrote them a bad check, how ever they never wrote them a check at all. Then they asked my father for his debit card number. After speaking with customer service at Guidepost magazine they stated they are aware of this and their legal department is looking into it.
Called while I was out and got my husband to agree on $89.00 for Angels on Earth which is a very small magazine for three years. Ridiculous and we're both in our 70's and living on social security. What threw my husband off is we get this magazine. This is Guideposts again Had to hurry and change our credit card number to avoid this scam. Guideposts needs to warn their customers because I don't feel like renewing with Guideposts since Guideposts has my info---address, phone number and that's why they called us.
