I don't understand why the IRS has not shut this phone# down. I know they can get another one. But this is a known scam and they are representing themselves as the IRS. Get off you [***] IRS
IRS scam. recorded message to call back to avoid IRS lawsuit/arrest. wish the scammers would realize that they have called me for over 3 YEARS and not gotten any money!!!
I just received the same phone call... don't think they would leave a voice mail with proprietary information like that, ando if I were being "sued" I don't think they are going to call me they would serve me papers via local sheriff knocking on my door
Voice recording on my answering machine telling me it is from the IRS and I need to call back to avoid IRS lawsuit/arrest... What a joke. Hate to tell you SCAMMERS this is not how the IRS communicates and they certainly do not file lawsuits against tax payers or tax absconders.
Recorded female message "Internal Revenue Service: This call is to inform you that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case call, us immediately at our number office 310-362-4401".
Note: It starts out saying "Internal Revenue Service: pauses trying to give impression that is who they are. Seems like the normal IRS scam..... that I have been called from a least a dozen other numbers. I must admit since they now have a Beverly Hills office, their English is understandable..... No help though as this one is now blocked too!
