Unsolicited local telemarketer - at least (apparently) the actual contractor - Chris Lawrence, answered the pone, identified himself as a local contractor & said he was calling because he was looking for some work.  He said all of this in the first sentence - who he was, what he does & why he was calling.  That I think is a first for an unwanted, unsolicited call.  I hung up and blocked his number, but it is nothing personal - I fell strongly that unsolicited telemarketing is a direct invasion of my privacy - on my private, unlisted telephone number that I pay for (I even pay to have it unlisted, which is ridiculous).
