Got the call from this number today. IRS lawsuit. It's definitely a scam. The company that does my taxes would be the ones held accountable if something were wrong. I guess I'll just block every number they use.
I just received a second call to my cell phone this morning. The first one was 7:23 A.M.!! This is a cell phone--This call is illegal. A call before 8 A.M. is also illegal. I am also on the "do not call list" this call is illegal!! Can we blow-up these business legally?? I thought harassment was illegal also!!!
Just now I got a voice mail from a number 310-383-1005 stating I needed to call 401-234-6289. The man said his name was Steve Lee with a badge # and a case number stating I was served papers twice from the local sheriffs office to my door but I refused to answer. Ummmm I work from home and I am here all day and no one has came to my door. Stated that since I didn't want to pay anything upfront that I would be arrested. Yelled at a lady in the back ground saying Misty is ready to go to jail. I have never committed tax fraud by the way. And I reported them to the irs after I called the local police department to see if I had a warrant and called the irs to see if something was wrong. Do not give them any information. Idiots!
Calls all day long with IRS scam. Problem for them I have a payment arrangement with IRS & they don't call you. The send certified mail. These scams are getting old
