they wanted to know what was on my screen and then got mad when I said gay indian porn. So I asked him what should I do now and he said get off, BUTT i didnt understand that he meant get off that page. He HUNG up.
I got a call from this number. It was a middle eastern accent that could barely speak English. He was trying to convince me that hackers are trying to hack my computer. I tolerated the call out of curiousity.
He showed me a clever command prompt trick that would convince a lot people who aren't computer experts into thinking that they're actually being hacked. Problem is, I'm a computer power user so of course I didn't fall for this.
These scammers need to go away, and potentially be arrested. It is likely that when they find someone who believes what he's telling them, that they're currently being hacked, that they either request remote access to their computer and steal their data and passwords, or end up charging them hundreds and thousands of dollars in a fraud scheme.
Please do something about scammers like this. Thanks.
