Actually FAR from a scam NACA helps people get refinancing/forbearance/foreclosure postponements etc from the major banks. They have US Gov't backing and all the major banks in the US are working with them to reduce the disaster the banks caused with the mortgage crisis. BTW they are a nonprofit who charges NOTHING for their services. Extremely worthwhile if in need of mortgage help and or modification since the Banks FEAR them and their ability to influence members of Congress to react to the banks unwillingness to negotiate with their borrowers.
