A gentleman name Jerry ???? called my cell phone number today while I was at work and asked me about my credit card number ending with 1062 and he wouldn't divulge any information. He said something to the that I was eligible for some offerings. Then I looked at my credit card and realized it was not one that I had that but recalled I use to have until Chase called us actually the Fraudulence office called and cancelled it because they were aware of activity on it that didn't belong to us. So before I said to him that NO it wasn't my card I said to him if you can not give me any information as to why you want me to say its my card and give me more information as to who you work for and what I am eligible for - your not getting anything from me. I said: you said your name was Jerry - I said Jerry I plan to report you and this number to the better business bureau because I feel your part of a scam. He hung up.....end of story!
I just received a phone call from this number on my cell and they asked me about my credit card ending in 2265.
I don't have my cell phone number associated with any credit card, but those last 4 digits sounded familiar. They have old information. I wonder if they are trying to steal my identity?
