This Indian man called me and stated I owed on a debt. I explained that the debt is no longer valid. Then he told me that I owed over 100% of the original debt and if I dont pay at least half of the settlement, I will have an arrest warrant and go to jail.
I was informed by an Indian woman or woman of foreign descent, that I will have a warrant issued to me at 11:00 tomorrow if I don't return the call and that she feels sorry for me. Initially when she first call she said this call is an emergency and I never identified myself I asked was something wrong with my family she never said, only keep trying to out talk me, which she couldn't do. The rest of the message is hard to understand. The second call she said call back or else. This company has really got me confused with a fool or something. I used to work in collection and I know all the rules. They don't scare me at all.
MAJOR SCAMMERS- they have been calling my daughter on her cell phone and at her job threatening her with arrest if payment is not made. First claiming they are a lawyer, then claiming they work for the crime division of "Cash Net". She has NO debt or history with "Cash Net" and has never heard of them. DO NOT LISTEN TO A WORD THEY TELL YOU, ITS A SCAM. I have called the local district attorney office and will next be in contact with the NYS Attorney Generals office!
