They called at 8:30am this morning on my cell phone. No message left. I called back from a different phone that has the number blocked. The woman who answered only speaks spanish. I don't speak spanish. I find this offensive. English is the official language for the state of California. I'm a native of the state and a U.S. citizen. Why are latinos the only foreign ethnic group that are allowed to force their way on the rest of this country after most of them invaded/trespassed here illegally to begin with? We don't allow any other foreign group to do this. Stop allowing "anchor" babies and send them all back to their countries of origin.
lots of calls... If I call back someone answers how can I help you and also answers in Spanish. Says her name is Edie. From experience, legit calls usually say company name. Keyword usually. I didn't say anything. It can validate your number if they compare called list with calls back.
To find out you need to ask them who they are. A couple issues:
1) They ask your name before they tell you who they are and it's true that when they answer they don't say who they are.
2) They claim they would only call if you asked for an attorney.
3) They then claim they are 1-800-THE-LAW2
4) They argue with wanting your name - at least they did with me and want to know how you got the number.
5) I don't know if any of this is legitimate that they told me, but it seems like *possible* phone phishing.
