Thank goodness for caller ID - number just showed Los Angeles which has no business calling an office in Massachusetts. They did leave a voicemail - it is a company for victim's of telemarketing who also work with "FINRA", 855-322-9218 and ntvcc.org is the information left. FINRA and this company work with financial companies who are violated by these unlawful telemarketing agencies and apparently our company's info was seized from one of these companies out of Orange County CA. If this is legit, they can try and call back.
So did they ever call back? I received 7 annoyance calls today & then I got a call from David who stated he was working with NTVCC, a non-profit organization & that our information has been compromised as well. With the calls I've been getting today I can believe it. He did inform me there was unfortunately nothing that could be done to stop these calls but encouraged me to file complaints to raise the awareness. He not once asked me for anything or hung up when I didn't put the owner of the business on the line like most do but was very informative & pleasant. Lastly, he gave me the direct line & site info for the organization he was with & extended the invite to call at anytime with any questions or concerns regarding the matter.
