Phone rings, I pick up. Female voice says "Hello, I'm calling about why your gas bills are so high".
-"My gas bill?"
"Yes, yours"
-"What's the name on the account?"
"I don't have that information".
-"So, you don't know who your calling?"
Pause.
-"What is the name on the account".
"I don't have that here".
-"What do you have, and where is 'here?".
"I have your account number".
-"What is the account number?"
"I'm not allowed to say".
-"Who do you work for?"
"I work for the gas company".
-"Which one?"
"Your gas company".
-"Put your supervisor on the line".
"My supervisor is at lunch".
-"It's only 9:30 AM here in California, so you are obviously somewhere back east?".
"I'm not allowed to divulge that information".
-"The only reason you cannot tell me is because you are a criminal."
"I'm not a criminal, I work for the gas company".
"Maybe that is what they told you, but what you are doing is aiding in a criminal conspiracy".
"Are you a lawyer?"
-"Yes, I am."
Phone slams down to a dial tone.
