Indeed, Kaiser; annoying, totally unsolicited. These calls presume their customers are dumb (or not charging up enough services?) and demonstrate over-involvement attempt in mundane, common-sense "lecturing" (akin to a corporate "mommy and daddy"). Asked them to stop, they said they "need" to call like this/I "need" to be involved in these interactions (which are outside of primary care). No choice but to BLOCK THIS #.
Being TOO "helpful" in one area (multiple, unsolicited calls to provide medical "propaganda") doesn't negate being unhelpful in more important areas (long-lead wait times, invoice surprises, billing snafus, bureaucratic protocols).
Automated voicemail left by Kaiser Permanente, my medical ins. Carrier. They requested I call a different number for helpful healthy lifestyle tips. I deleted the number they left on the voicemail. But called the number They called me from; the one on my screen.
It was also an automated voice that asked a couple of questions and offered options for dealing with day to day health issues and how to work with KP through emails, telephone advice nurse and through office visits. Positive experience for me. If you are a KP member it's worth it to return this call. Chris H. In Yucaipa, Ca.

im not sure if this is actually from kp. i still need to verify it from them. it could be a scheme from an ID thief to get your info. medical insurance fraud is on the rise. the call i got from an answering service "from kp" just asked me if my phone no. is so and so. only answerable by yes or no, so i answered no.
