I don't want to point fingers but since I got the same text message, I have to mention that the ONLY place I have given out my number lately was the Toyota Camry "shazam" giveaway.
Anyone else participate and got the text message? If yes, then Toyota has some explaining to do!
I received a spam SMS from 310-498-9693 that read, "Apple is looking for iPhone 5 testers! The first 1000 users that go to http://celltestandkeep.com and enter code 7923 will get to test & keep a new iPhone 5"
I would caution anyone from responding to the SMS or entering any information on the site included in the spam SMS. Out of curiosity I went to the site on my PC and entered code 5555, 1234, and 9999, each time the code was "validated" and the site redirected me to SampleRewardsOnline.com, which wanted all of my information. I didn't enter any information.
