FYI -- I've seen an ad for a guest house on Craigslist with no pictures, just a great description and a phone #. When I tried to email questions, the person only responded with:
"I can answer all your questions and give you even more info if you call me at 310-500-7755. I think it is important to have a two way conversation. Thank you"
It's not the exact same number in this post, but it makes me wary, especially since the response didn't address any answers and didn't include any pictures. Insistence on the other person's part to control information is usually a sign of a scam. :/
Today a woman called spewing threats of a Sheriff's Arrest and if someone would be Home. I told her not to call here again with this *SPAM*...so within 5 minutes I had 10x repeated calls that I didn't pick-up. I have now had to take the phone off the hook. Will be yet adding another *BLOCK* on our phone.
I've received three calls from them in the last three days. All three have been threatening, but for a person that keeps claiming this is their number (not me). As soon as I inform them that I am not who I'm looking for, they hang up. One guy cursed as he was hanging up. Another scolded me for how I answered the phone, then hung up. All three calls have been about legal documents that need to be delivered, and I need to verify that someone will be available at a certain time and day. I tried to call the number back to inquire more, but the call ends before it connects.
This number has called me 4 times today asking if someone would be home to receive documents from a clarence crawley. Each time i.told them I don't know who that is
I also got these calls and the lady was rude and would hang up when I said that person did not live here and they called back saying they had leagle documents for her would someone be here to take them and I said I'm not telling you again They do not live here and then she hangs up the phone says its "The Doctor Company"
