This call comes through as "G V Automotive" and without the area code. I was receiving so many calls daily, without answering that I finally decided to find out who it was -- a solar system sales company! I let him give his lead line and then politely interrupted that we literally had just finished a remodel and already installed one ... and could he please take us off the list? He was polite and said "of course" so hopefully I won't get anymore calls. It was worth the 15 seconds it took to eliminate anymore calls, so give it a try. I'm also registered on the DNC list ... obviously it doesn't do any good whatsoever.
After my posting in August, I am STILL receiving calls from these people. After politely listening to their line each time, I have literally asked 3 more times to be removed from their call list! Does anyone have any suggestions how to accomplish this??
I have been getting so many of these lately from random spammers. You're right the DNC list is no longer effective. The best solution I have found is to block the number on my phone. Go to the number in caller ID, hit "save" and then a menu will come up asking it you want to block it.
Call is from KDA Marketing Group, says they represent insurance company I work for but don't know the name of the Agency Owner. Did not have an answer when I challenged her. Our company is not based in California and they give us a heads up when they outsource programs
