Just got a call today from this very same number. I picked up and said hello, the person on the other end said nothing and just hung up. My question is, why would anyone at Northrop Grumman - a multibillion-dollar company and one of the largest defense contractors in the world - be making calls like this?? I wonder if they're random. Very peculiar.
yes this number is the generic id, instead of the precise extension, for calls from Northrop.
no, all the employees I know have enough professional training to say, 'sorry, wrong number'.
Suggestion A, I had some phone trouble recently. My line would go dead just as the outgoing call completes. And my digital phone would crash. But then I would re-dial right away to finish the call and explain the phone problem.
Suggestion B, could some third party be spoofing the Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems caller id?
Just in case someone from my employer had been rude and hung up, please accept my apologies on their behalf.
NG has finally begun their plan to turn us all us into low-paid, government, employees who happen to have RELATIVES with OFTEN MISTYPED 10-digits number codes often called phone numbers....
even knowing who you all are - you arent 'all' that important.
