Got the same thing, this person called me by my first name as if they knew me and when I said 'yes' they hung up. I waited a few minutes and called back. They answered but would not say anything on the other end and hung up on me. Then the phone stayed off the hook for some time. I called back later and when they finally answered the phoned I told them "Do not call my phone again and that I have an attorney (I do) and that I will take legal action against them".
My father has been getting calls from this number and just told me about it because they are rude. But they are asking for my grandmother. Never say who they are or for what. He said one time a man was asking how old is she and how is she feeling. I feel they are trying to get her information because she is 87 years old. I am trying to call them back to find out what they want and tell them to stop inquiring about my grandmother. I had a call like this that got out of hand and had to take it to the police. They knew all my information and it wasnt a good feeling. I hope these people are caught and stop harassing people.
They have called 3 or 4 times past few weeks and I too don't usually answer an unknown caller who won't leave a message. Today they called about 10 minutes after I had sent an important email and I expected a call from an unrecognized number so I answered. The woman said hi and called me by name in a very friendly and enthusiastic manner and told me my credit card company had entered me in a sweepstakes. I asked which company, and if she was a trying to sell me something, and the line went dead.
