This is a faked caller ID because these f#ckers know that they are breaking the law.
When they call back... AND THEY WILL....
Tell them you have a LOT of work for contractors to do... Make something up. They will make an appointment at that time.
They will call you back to confirm your appointment. Ask them for their contractor license number, their office phone number, company address. They will probably hang up, and MIGHT even take you off of their list.
This telemarketing mill is either run by a contractor who wants to remain nameless (because they are scumbags) OR, they sell the leads to contractors who do now know of the illegal practices practiced by these telemarking slime balls.
They called at 3:00 in the afternoon. I did not pick up and they did not leave a message. Other sites said it was a land line from Manhattan Beach, CA. The number does not bring up anyone I know in my cell phone contact list. I'm guessing it is a contractor. I've been getting lots of calls from people fishing for business, although I am on the do not call list.
Phone call came at 10:03am. I answered the phone and the caller hung up. Called back on a private secured line and heard that the "phone number you have dialed is no longer in service". Have received many calls over the past several weeks like this one where they'll hang up on you.
I am also getting calls from 310-546-9817, Manhattan Beach, but can't figure it out. I tried to call that number but I got a recorded message from the phone company saying the number is not in service.
