We are on the Do Not Call list. These telemarketers don't seem to care anymore, the work is worth the risk. Me, I work at home, so it is a huge distraction, but if I don't answer, they call again, and again and again.

My new 7 step strategy for contractor telemarketing.
1.Ask them why they are calling?
2.Tell them I have a lot of work that I am currently looking for contractors to do.
3 But I need to finish something, can I call them back in 15 minutes.
4. Tell them I need a phone number to call them back at.
5. If they haven't hung up, ask the person's name and ask if I should ask for them, or someone else.
6. If they haven't hung up, ask them their CONTRACTOR LICENSE NUMBER.... They will most assuredly have hung up by now.

I also work from home and find these unwanted calls to be such an annoyance!!! I did not recognize "Kane Anderson" so I did not pick up. No answer when I tried calling back. If they call again I will answer with "I am on the do not call list!!!!!"
