Received the call from 310-561-0451, second call in a few weeks both stating it was my FINAL call that I needed to call back on the same # to settle my account as IRS was in the process of litigation involing me. I am of old school and am positive I would have received correspondence prior to a lawsuit. The # won't call again, I blocked the #.
Received a call from 310 561 0451 purportedly IRS. Listened to their agent tell me of a tax liability in the amount of $6,800. Just so happens, my friends, one an IRS agent and the other an SEC agent (I am also a government worker) were visiting and we decided to follow along. The purported agents were of Indian ethnicity with fake IRS numbers and we followed up to the point they tried to convince me I had falsified my income tax returns even though I indicated I secured a CPA firm to calculate and file my taxes.
After my friend identified himself as an IRS official, the weasels immediately dropped the call.
This phone number has been calling our home multiple times today. A computerized female voice says the IRS is going to file a lawsuit against us and we need to call them back right away for information on it. I HAVE PUT A BLOCK ON THIS NUMBER!!
Called me today and said from IRS and asked if I was aware of a case against me......NOT! First of all, the IRS NEVER calls you; they correspond by mail only!!!!! FRAUD! Told them what they could do and not to call here again.
Caller claimed they were from the IRS and that a lawsuit would be filed against me if I didn't return the call. This is the nineth number I have that claims to be from the IRS. This is a scam, Block this number immediately and any other number that claims to be from IRS. They don't call they send regular mail.
