Another unwanted call from this Malibu VOIP number arrived today, just 1 day since the last call on Jan. 5. Yesterday, the call was disguised as 113-105-893-261.
Once again, when the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message. This pattern is typical of illegal telemarketers who use automated dialers to place calls. If a live person answers, the call is transferred to a live telemarketer. Slick, eh?
Since I neither know nor do business with anyone in Malibu, I must conclude this is an unwanted telemarketing call.
