I got a call from someone who said "He is in the area." and works out of someplace called the "Design Center " in Glendale California. I asked him for an address and he just hemmed and hawed. He's just a telemarketer trying to get leads for local fly-by-night contractors. I'm making a complaint to FCC now.
Multiple calls and hang ups. Someone on line after delay but no voice. If it is Crowne-Platinum-Coast-Pacific Construction scams they want to come to and get inside your house to see if it is worth burglarizing. Nice idea to report them and give an address in Palmdale.
Caller ID shows "Richard Green". When I answered for my mom (she's in her 80's) just yesterday, he said he was from the "handicapped". I told him to put her on his do not call list. He said he would and hung up. When I checked on her today, I noticed that he had called again today. When I tried to call the number, it just kept ringing.
In the past, she has sent money to his handicapped organization. When she tried to tell him that she can no longer give, he put his "supervisor" on the phone who then continued to ask for money. My mom says that he has been calling her for some time now always asking for money. We are going to block this number from her phone. I tell you, it never fails to amaze me just how devious some people are.
