Thanks Bronte for the tip. I'd been getting a call a day from this number. The first was a silent hang up, so I didn't get anything out of them. The next two days, I ignored the calls and went online to look and see who actually was behind the number. I had been getting other prank calls during the same three days. Someone probably dropped my name in a bucket of email lists by spoofing my number and calling these people. Ugh.
SCAMMER! called back and it was a voice recording that said you could only sign up with this number once and hung up on me. Foolishly gave them some personal info during the first call and realized something was not right so i canceled my card.
I have been getting up to 3 calls a day from this number. A woman says "Hi, this is Miriam on a recorded line. Hello? Hello?" and finally realizes she has my answering machine so she hangs up. Who are they??
