Caller is sending texts requesting that I wire him money for his business.  Name is Jack Kehl.

He did the same thing to me. Just yesterday he said that he had a major problem on a rig he was working on in the North Sea. He said he was an independent contractor for Halliburton. He first asked for $30,000, then $9500, then said he raised money except for $2700. I met him on Match and he sent me many romantic texts and the last few days we texted and called for hours. What first turned me off was when he said he owned me and wanted me to tell him I was his. The money was the clincher. My friends told me he was a scammer before he asked for money. How did you find his name?

I experienced the same thing with this so-called "Jack Kehl" today. My friend found him on match last night and thought he was fabulous. He has his email on match as [email protected] so I thought his name was Jack and he signed his texts and emails as Jack. Said he had a son named Oliver who is 18 and is attending college in Houston. The son apparently lives with his ex and they share custody. He seemed too good to be true so I put the phone number in yahoo and your comments appeared. He had texted me the most romantic line of [***] on all days--today, my birthday. He said he was in the North Sea drilling for oil, which my mom said is very odd. Oil? The North Sea?. He said he was an independent contractor with 85 employees working for Halliburton. His English was terrible on the phone with a thick Danish accent, but his writing flowed as beautifully as Michelangelo paints. He hasn't asked me for money...yet, as we have only been in communication one day, but he was going to be at the North Sea for a few weeks and I was traveling to Europe for a vacation so I asked if we could meet, and he totally disregarded the subject, instead interjecting how he values love, trust, mutual respect, and the stoppage of time when we enter the room as a couple. Maybe I should ask him for $30,000. lol. We could all split it for our inconvenience and waste of time.

Please be careful this man is a scam! He is very smooth and pretends that he is a very caring person.   Everything that is said about him above is true.  He will try to borrow large sums of money.  Watch out and don't fall for his tactics!  He even has a fake profile on LinkedIn.  It's hard to believe that there are human beings out there like him in this world:(
