This number calls over and over again...never leaves message, just irritating.

Does anyone know who this is and what they want?

Its the outreach center for the fannie mae mortgage help center, answer and they go away

I answered, but they won't go away.  FM owns my underwater loan on which a short sale is being negotiated.  This message tells me that "we know the best way for you to handle your problem" and to call immediately.  
They didn't even hesitate when I interrupted and told them I'm dying of cancer and can't make the payments on disability income.  Still want me to make appt, drag my behind to their location and spend a couple of hours talking about solutions - when the only one that makes sense it to let me off the hook.
I have a good buyer with cash and the offer is only $30K of balance owed.  They try to ask all sorts of illegal questions like if I have retirement funds I could cash in and pay the difference.

I called these guys and they set my appointment with the fannie mae guy saved me from bank of america and they fixed my mortgage
