This afternoon, at 3:15, I got a call from 310-734-5673 on June 5, 2014. I did not answer the phone and the caller did not leave a message. It's annoying because I have to stop what I'm doing, get up and walk to the phone to look at the caller ID and then decide if I want to answer the call. My caller ID said, "Out of area," which tells me nothing.
Nah, Jake is telling the truth. They are an independent company that collects your school/college information, selects colleges/universities matching your criteria, and sends you a list of them. Everyone who gets calls from this number, whether they remember or not, at one time gave out their phone # somewhere online for more information on colleges. The callers don't leave messages and they don't accept calls in return, so they hang up when the person they're calling doesn't answer. Nothing about the calls you may get have anything to with a scam. I would say that it's safe to automatically assume a number you don't know apart of a scam. That being said, you don't have to worry about this one.
I have breathing problems and have to get up to answer the phone. It makes short of breath. Please stop calling my number. You could be the death of me.
