This number has called me before, back in 2011. I recognized it cause the place where text usually is shows another number: (310) 786-8000. It appeared local, so I added it to my block list.
I removed it last month, thinking the coast should be clear now. Lo and behold, I got another call yesterday about 1pm. No message. Same strange looking Caller ID.
If it is TWC, they have been sending me stuff in the mail, calling (from different numbers), trying to get me to get digital phone, Internet, and cable. TWC acquired Insight Cable, a company in the mid-West. I've been getting calls from an Ohio based number, and it says "Unknown Name." Searching the number shows it's TWC, AGAIN. I'm in CA, so why do they call me? Probably calling everyone in TWC's database.
If employers called me as many times as these people (or other unwanted calls), I'd have been long employed. And probably after getting multiple offers.
I don't want/need to talk to TWC. Only people I want to talk to are employers, and the few friends I have.
