Got a phone call last week from "Leslie Powers"  executive producer for a new TV series featuring physicians, called LifeLine.  Email was [email protected].  Phone number was 310-736-4259.  TV show claimed to be hosted by Larry King, featuring 25 medical professionals speaking about medical breakthroughs in various specialties.  Asking for $28,000  for scheduling placement fee to the agency!  Promised 5-7 minute segment featuring my medical specialty, to be broadcasted on primetime national television (NBC Universal), with scripting rights, links to the segment sent to 250k people, 1 page add in a a national magazine of my choice.  She talked a mile a minute.  They even have a phony website (http://miramartelevision.com/) which has no useful information about the show or the production company .   I am so glad I found this website!  What a hoax and a complete waste of time!
