Who called from 3107427578

The ID lists "Brendan Bellina" as the caller
Telemarketer saying she worked for "California Rebates"
I called back the number after she hung up.
The announcement is from the real owner of the number (Brendan Bellina) explaining he is not making the calls.
His number is being spoofed by the schmucks trying to con you
I feel really sorry for him
It's bad enough getting the spam calls but imagine getting LOTS of calls from pissed off people who you didn't call

I got a call at 10:17 AM on 04/07/2015, also from "Brendan Bellina."  See previous post.  This time, there was no one on the line, just silence.  They hung up after two 'hellos' from me.

Said they are a "Drought resistant landscaping program".

I hung up at that point, as this is obviously a con.

The bustards are using real peoples phone numbers as spoofed IDs.

A new low!

I have a feeling since we are in this drought situation and legitimate rebates are being offered that these scams will be the new 20 calls a day!
