Been getting calls from this number plus a dozen more for the past 3 weeks after my son filled out a job application online and put MY phone number on it. I don't make it a habit to answer numbers I don't have saved in my phone because 9x out of 10 its telemarketers. When I answered the guy keeps asking if I was a person by name but I wouldn't confirm nor deny. I kept asking him what it was in reference to and he responds "Hey this isn't f'in rocket science lady!" and hangs up me. His phone number is now permanently blocked on my phone. I love my iPhone :)
This same problem occurs with most people! Never answer the phone! Do you know why? It's because once you answered that number they automatically think that you will answer the phone again so they will keep your number and keep ringing it! Well this happens to me so my dad said that if a unknown number rings a child's phone that the person who is ringing you can get reported for it. Because it is illegal to ring a child's phone! So NEVER answer the unknown number or the word unknown! This may help.

Caller asked for male of household by name. I asked if I could take a message and have him call back. The female caller stated no i will call later. We had several calls from 310-817-6899. Our answering message states "you have reached a do not call number, all unauthorized callers are turned in for prosecution, if you are one of our callers please leave a brief message, your name, and a legitimate call back number. That being stated, knowing the number called is a do not call number, they call anyway.
This number called me repeatedly. Finally I picked up and heard, "Tracy"? I hung up because I didn't know the call number. I called right back and the number changed to another area code (707). I spoke to a woman, who answered as an upholstery shop in Napa! She said I was the second person that morning to call and say that. She was calling Comcast to report it. I called the above again in Gardenia, Ca. And asked, "who am I calling?" The response was, " Is this Tracy?" I responded again with, "Who am I calling?" Back and forth two times until I said, "Stop calling?" He said, "No the calls won't stop until I talk to Tracy!" I responded "I Am Tracy!" And the person hung up on me. When I called back a minute later someone else answered the phone and told me they were from Apex Visa and asked if I was interested in working from home.
