Multiple calls per day usually b/w 10AM and 3PM. Never message. Sounds like the fake construction scam which never seems to go away. They have to figure out new scam. Does anyone ever fall for this?
Thanks, but the regular posters here already know that. We've been battling the shills for years. The board has been sued several times, all unsuccessfully.
BTW - Tamianth doesn't own the board. Neither do I. The board is owned by Julia, but she rarely posts.
NM is spot on. We see it a lot. They usually get trounced pretty good by the regular members when they try it. Threats don't bother me at all though and usually go bye bye real quick since they get reported and the silly shilly's get pretty red stamps on their posts of suspect or busted - Kind of like getting a black eye! :)
I answered hello hello? Silence. Then once more hello? The caller asked for Mr or Mrs Young ( not my name) I said you have the wrong number. Then a hang up. Ops wait they are calling again. Right now.
Twice a day, everyday, calls from this number continue after I botched the quick pick-up-hang-up (a recommendation I've found on this web site), and accidentally left the caller on the line long enough for them to hear my voice.
I'm receiving unsolicited calls from "California" that never leave messages. They spoof their calls from many different numbers. This one is spoofed as a Verizon number out of Mar Vista. I've also gotten calls from these scammers on 818-488-2026, an MCI number. I've reported their numbers to Nomo for future blocking.
