I have received several calls on my cell phone ID 310-831-2122. This morning I answered my phone. A woman identified herself as calling from Publishers Headquarters. She said I had been entered in the Dream Come True Sweepstakes by my credit card or bank. She was calling finalists,the drawing would be in December and winners would be notified in January. She just needed to verify some information. I asked her just what information was that? She asked me to verify my mailing address. I asked her what address do you have? She gave me my correct mailing address. I then said thank you and hung up. I called the ID number 310-831-2122 back. The same woman answered. I asked what company this was? She said Publishers Headquarters and asked what my name was? I hung up. She was polite but I guess it is a telemarketing call. I order on line and also out of catalogs where I give my cell #. Probably the same scam that I have been reading about on line for Dream Come True Sweepstakes. They seem to call from different numbers across the US. Be careful and never give out any info to callers.
