I think this people took my information from Facebook, an today I have like 10 calls from different telephones, this was one of them. They are driving me crazy. I have an outstanding record, and I'm affraid that they are trying to steel my identity.
This person is asking for a Brian Smith who does not live here. They call every hour on the hour and we have told them numerous times there is no Brian Smith here. This is phone harassment.
Got a call from this number this morning looking for me. They state that I signed up on their website for help paying back taxes. This is most certainly a phishing scam and they hung up right after I said I never signed up on their website for anything. Filed a complaint with the FTC, but I didn't lose anything so who knows if it will be looked into.
This week I have had multiple calls on my cell phone from all over the country. If it is not Oregon or Washington area code obviously I don't know them so I don't answer them. Each time I look up the number on line they are either telemarketers and scammers. I have filed a complaint with www.donotcall.gov as I haved been listed since 2007 especially my cell phone as it costs my minutes.
I believe they came from online resume that I posted and been sold to these people.
