I have had calls from this number and ID in the past. I assume it is another telemarketer since I get so many from telemarketers who are undeterred by the Do Not Call List law. Apparently no one enforces it. I have reported dozens of callers, yet the calls continue and no one has ever contacted me about the reports I file at the donotcall.gov website. I have contacted my congressman, both US senators and state legislators, but no one is willing to do anything to enforce the law or pass a law that has teeth in it. One law that should be passed to stop these calls is to hold telephone companies liable for their clients who use their phone numbers for illegal activity when that number does not accept calls or provide proper location or identity.
Someone from this number just called me. He said his name was Brian Johnson from Sky High Builders and is a handy man who will be doing some work in Apartment 108 in my building. He wanted to see if I needed any work done and he could come by and take a look. He didn't even know the name of the person in Apt. 108 and said he got my number from a list he bought. Well, guess what? There is no Apartment 108 in my building! He probably wants to case my place to steal some items. TOTAL SCAM!!!
