I had the EXACT same thing happen to me. He called at 4:17pm with loud hold-type music playing and then he started talking, I couldn't hear a thing, so I just hung up.

called and when i answered there was blasting jazz music. then it stopped and there was no one there. very weird.

This was a debt relief company.  Truly poor.  I told the guy after the music to take me off the calling list and he said they would call me forever.  hmmm I think that is illegal.

They tried to get me on a program for credit cards.
