Got a call from this # only identified as 'Compton'. I look up all unfamiliar #'s that I get and so far they're all scams. If they don't ID themselves & reason for call on message machine, I no longer answer the phone and it's a red flag that they are up to no good. Don't answer . . . and report the #. I'm also on the Nat'l Do Not Call list, but 'they' still call. :(
I got called by this place and it was a rude lady that sounded like a telemarketer. They had the wrong number and tried to get my information but I didn't give it to them.
Got call from this phone number at 10:40AM today 6/3/15 calling says something about energy says they are in the area. I told him I wasn't interested in these telemarketing calls and he just kept talking - blah blah blah so I just hung up. Nothing but a bunch of scammers trying to get your information. Damn criminals hopefully they will all be caught and prosecuted to the max!!!!
I keep getting called from this number, 310-894-9553, and it's been going on now for several months. The caller ID says Gary Anderson. All I hear is background sounds like some kind of a call center operation, but no one actually answers and then it hangs up. Every effort to call that number back results in a recording that states the mailbox is full. I have no way to make this stop.
It seems they don't much care about the national "Do not call" list either.
