Called my cell phone three times today. Finally picked up and "This is a final notice from the IRS and we are filing a law suit. Please call back our internal line at 310-897-9179". I know for sure this is a scam. A-i have a land line we put on our taxes when efiling and B-we would have gotten some kind of written notice.
I received a call on my home phone two or three times today. The recording says they are from the IRS! I have no issues with the IRS. This is definitely a scam and I have had them call about a year or two ago.
They keep calling over and over. Finally they left two messages saying it was from the IRS and they were going to file a lawsuit against me. I am sure this is a scam.
