Caller ID showed Santa Monica, CA. An Internet search reveals a fax number (former?) for dentists. I have no outstanding debts, so I NEVER answer or allow my machine to pick up such scammer/spammer calls. They are simply ignored, as they deserve! It's my pleasure to waste THEIR time!
Landline phone companies need to wise up. The number one reason people are getting rid of hardwire landlines is garbage phone calls, scammers, spammers, beggars, and freeloaders. I only have cell now, and if the number looks odd, I do not answer and THEY can leave a message, which of course they never do.
