A woman called saying asking about a lost pet notice I had put on Facebook. Laughter ensued in the background and she obviously was having fun. I was heartbroken about my missing pet, and told her I was going to report her number. She immediately apologized, trying to calm me down.
Tells me they found my cat that has been missing for two weeks. I was overjoyed. Then I was told to call this number 310-902-9796 and keep trying to call it. The caller stated that the people will pick up, and that I just have to keep calm, keep calling and I will get my cat back. Then the number 310-902-9796 rings my phone once and hangs up repeatedly. [***]. I'm glad I didn't get my kids hopes up. :( My heart is broken again.
