Exactly!!!!! today i received call as callerid displays unknown and she left voice mail saying they are looking for people with good communication skills and left their number as 310 906 0522.
Exact same message that Karen (above) received but my caller was not Carlos, it was a women with a very thick Asian accent. She said she was in charge of expansion for her company in Torrance and that I had come highly recommended with great communication and people skills and would I be open to a part or full time opportunity if the pay and timing were right.... I did not call back because after Googling the number, many people had received the SAME EXACT call from "Carlos" ... Total scammer. BLOCK!
Got call on my personal cell from someone by the name of Carlos. He said I'd come "highly recommended" by someone and that he was in charge of expansion for his company and wondered if I was someone that "kept my options open". I called the number back, Carlos answered, said my friend "Diane Thomas" gave him my information. I don't know anyone by that name. He said he and his company hold periodic seminars and often ask people for referrals, and that's where they got my information.
I don't know anyone that would give out my personal cell and name without asking me first. I Googled "Diane Thomas" she was an actress that passed away in the '80's.
Got the same call from "Carlos". Said the same exact thing. Had my name dropped by someone who said I had excellent communication and people skills and was looking for a part time job. Sketch-y.
Same call from Carlos,he left a message on my answering machine. Same exact line, he never said
who the person was that gave him my name. Ironically I am looking for a job but I think there is something fishy about this. I never called him back. I do not know how he got my cell phone number either as I do not give it out readily.
