Thanks for the warning.My son just got the same check in the mail today and he did the same, put his car on craigslist. These people that do this need to get a life and be prosecuted for wasting peoples time. Check is out of OH but the same, Business name reads ILL. Stupid on there part to waste the money on UPS!
It wasn't a call, but this number was listed as their check that was sent to my address it was for my auto that was being sold on Craigslis. I was just googleing their name and we've been like oh kay first the check says it's from chicago then the company is written to be in Northbrook ILL not even a state because it has more than two letters then the number is from Los Angeles and then on top of that it came from a P.O box in San antonio Texas. Stay away from any deals whether connected or just a random call. People like this discust me.

This is the second time someone has tryed to scam me from an ad on craigslist. I recieved a check today, and it is from River Forest, ILL. The check was in the envelope without a letter of discription, contact information. Total scam, should be strung up by the toes.
Same as above got the check on the 4/15 for a car on craiglist. Check no good the E-mail that was sent to me was laura.heg@gmail. I'm not out anything but would like to get him/her back. Anyone call the # yet?
