Yes, I received 2 calls on April 26th from 310-954-0066 and got a pre-recorded message from "Google" (or someone pretending to be them). Got another call on April 30th from the same number and didn't answer. I called back to see if I could opt out of their calls and got a recorded message saying “number not found in our database." I submitted a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry, since I'm on the Do Not Call list. I suggest anyone who gets a call from this number file a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry (www.donotcall.gov)
I also received a phone call from this number stating "It was time to update my Google listing", when I pressed 1 to talk to someone, they identified themselves (Eglish speaking lady), I said I had asked them repeatedly to remove my number, and before I could finish, they hung up. I called the number back, received a recording in either Chinese or Vietnamese, then a guy with a Vietnamese accent answered, when I started t tell him they keep calling me, he stated, "Sorry, wrong number" and hung up.
Robo caller asking me to press"1" to update my Google listing. I get lots of these calls everyday from different phone numbers. I just hang up. I usually get these from a Florida phone number.
I let long distance numbers go to voice mail. Recording said press one to update google listing,
When I returned the call to ask to be removed from the call list all I got is dead air.
I am pretty sure these companies are required by law to provide a caller Id number that can be used to contact them.
I don't understand how an industry that is categorically detested can continue to interrupt our lives.
I've never heard anything nice about these companies, have you?
Which government bureaucracy did they pay off to continue their shifty practices?
